Overview:

This year's CCW will be held at Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center. It is located in Blue Bell, PA near Ambler campus of Temple University, about 22 miles from Philadelphia downtown (via I-76) and 33 miles from Philadelphia International Airport (via I-476). Area attractions include Highlands Mansion and Gardens, Alan West Corson Homestead, and Plymouth Meeting Mall. Additional area attractions include Elmwood Park Zoo and Clifton House.

Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center has an indoor pool, a spa tub, and a 24-hour fitness center. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Additional amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, room service (during limited hours), and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests have complimentary access to an area shuttle within 8 mi.

Guestrooms at Normandy Farm Hotel provide Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access. All accommodations provide desks and phones; free local calls are offered (restrictions may apply). Additional amenities include coffee/tea makers and irons/ironing boards. In addition, amenities available on request include refrigerators and microwaves.

 

Reserve a room:

     CCW has negotiated a special rate of $139/night which includes complimentary breakfast. To avail this rate you must indicate your hotel preference on the conference registration form.  Please DO NOT reserve the hotel separately or pay for it in advance. The arrangement is that Normandy form will collect the names of guests and those guests will pay when they check in.

      To get the special rate, we have committed to 30 room-nights at Normandy Farms. We will have to pay for this expense, whether or not we have that many bookings. So, please do sign up for Normandy Farms. In addition to being convenient for the workshop, the complimentary breakfast based rate is significantly better than available on your own. Also, please do complete your registration by the deadline of Oct 6 to avoid higher rate.
